14:18: If frying almonds, cashews, etc. at the same time, 1st fry cashews, as almonds will discolour the ghee/oil.
14:17: For easier rolling of sticky stuff parathas, slip the piece of dough into a plastic bag & roll.
14:17: Roast sooji (vermicelli) to light brown before storing, it lasts longer.
14:17: Soak almonds, pistachios, etc. in water for an hr for easy slicing.
14:17: Refrigerate rolled puris for 5-10 mins before frying- they'll soak less oil & be crispy.
14:17: Use earthenware to enhance the flavour of Rajasthani dals & curries.
14:16: To sour buttermilk for a dish, add 1/8 tsp citric acid to a cup of buttermilk.
14:16: Leftover bhajia batter can be used to make boondi for 'Boondi Raita'.
14:16: Serve tiny helpings of salads on cracker biscuits (like monaco) or canape thins topped with cheese.

12:52: Scrape, cut & store drumsticks in clean ziplock or freezer bags, make a few small holes, & they'll stay fresh for 8-10 days in the fridge.
